... Read moreOh my gosh, you guys, I swear my heart nearly stopped when I laid out those cards. It was like... a punch to the gut. All I could see was 'ruin,' plain and simple. Every single card, no matter how I fanned them out, whispered the same dreadful message: 'This is bad! This is bad, bad, bad!' I felt this cold dread creeping up my spine, thinking, 'This is terrible, terrible luck! Bad things are going to happen.' It wasn't just a fleeting thought; it was a certainty that something catastrophic was on its way. I must have looked absolutely distraught, because that's when one of the Strike Squad members, bless their soul, walked in. They took one look at my face and the spread of cards, and immediately tried to lighten the mood. 'Woah, you're being way too harsh on yourself here,' they said, trying to offer a comforting smile. 'I mean, just look at...' But honestly, all I could focus on was the impending doom I felt these cards were screaming. My mind was racing, trying to find any other interpretation. 'B-b-but, everyone is counting on me,' I stammered, feeling the weight of expectations. There had to be another way, right? I couldn't accept such a bleak future. 'Y-yeah! I must've interpreted the cards wrong,' I desperately thought. 'There's no way that'll all happen.' It had to be a mistake. The alternative was just too much to bear. So, I gathered my courage, took a deep breath, and tried to look at them with fresh eyes. 'S-s-so the correct interpretation should be...' I mused, feeling a tiny spark of hope. 'Be wary of...' Yes! That must be it. It's not a direct prediction of failure, but a caution. A heads-up. A chance to prepare. 'Yeah, that must be it!' I told myself, clinging to that idea. 'It's... It's just giving me a warning...' A warning I could act on, a warning I could use to change the outcome. It's still scary, but at least it's not a definitive end. This whole experience has me feeling so on edge, but also determined. We're in the Solo Leveling world, after all; we always have to be ready for anything. And if these cards are telling me to be 'wary of,' then wary I shall be. It's a tough path, but I'm ready to face whatever comes next, armed with this newfound interpretation. I'm not letting bad luck define my story!
