Hey everyone! I wanted to chat a bit more about why this Cinnamon Ritual is so powerful and how it's brought so much positive energy into my life. When I first heard about it, I was curious, and now it's become one of my favorite monthly practices. It’s truly amazing how a simple spice like cinnamon can hold such potent energy for attracting abundance & prosperity. Beyond just a superstition, cinnamon has a long history in various cultures for its protective and attracting properties. It's often associated with wealth, success, and even spiritual cleansing. So when you’re gathering your 3 tsp Cinnamon Powder on the 1st of each month, know that you're tapping into something ancient and powerful. For me, the ritual isn't just about blowing powder; it's a mindful moment to reset and welcome new beginnings. After placing the cinnamon in my right hand, I always make sure to close my eyes and focus on my intentions. This is crucial! Don't just think about what you want, truly visualize them – see yourself thriving, feeling abundant, and experiencing all the blessings you desire. I imagine my home literally glowing with positive energy as I get ready to step outside. When I blow the cinnamon over the threshold into my home, I don't just do it quietly. I make sure to speak my intentions out loud. There's something incredibly empowering about declaring your desires to the universe. I might say something like, "I welcome abundance, prosperity, joy, and health into this home!" or whatever feels right for that month. And honestly, expressing gratitude to the universe and Higher Powers while doing so makes it even more potent. It’s about acknowledging that these blessings are on their way. One of the hardest parts, but also the most liberating, is to release and trust in the universe, let go of the outcome, and have patience. We often want immediate results, but the universe works in its own time. I remind myself to trust the Universe to handle the timing. After I’ve done my part, I simply let go and believe. And, of course, following the tradition, I leave the cinnamon on the floor for 2 days before Sweeping. For those with pets, please, please be careful! As mentioned in the main post, cinnamon powder can be toxic to them if inhaled. My alternative suggestion is to place whole cinnamon sticks above your doorframe. You still get that protective and attracting energy without any risk to your furry friends. You could also make a cinnamon simmer pot – the aroma itself is incredibly inviting and energy-boosting! I’ve personally seen incredible shifts in my life since consistently doing this. It's not magic in the sense that things just appear, but it truly shifts my mindset, makes me more open to opportunities, and helps me recognize the abundance already present. Give it a try, and let me know how it goes for you!
