Shabu Shabu?!

All-you-can-eat shabu shabu done right 🍲

This is📍 Happy Lamb in Westminster, CA! Their bone marrow broth is simmered for 6+ hours, and you can taste it. Choose your broth, build your sauce, load up on veggies (I get fish, shrimp & leafy greens), then don't forget to add noodles or rice to soak up that rich broth.

They source premium lamb from Inner Mongolia, the UK, Scotland, New Zealand, Ireland & Australia aka some of the best lamb in the world!! We went with the house original & spicy broths (packed with flavor), plus New Zealand spring lamb, Wales lamb toro, wagyu brisket, Patagonia giant red prawns, shrimp paste & conch slices. I didn’t want this meal to end UGHHHHH!

P.S. They have over 100 locations in 11 countries worldwide.

... Read moreIf you're new to shabu shabu or looking to elevate your hot pot game, visiting a spot like Happy Lamb is a must. What makes their experience stand out is their bone marrow broth, simmered for over 6 hours, which adds an unparalleled depth of flavor and rich umami that you can truly taste in every bite. When you build your own sauce, combining savory, tangy, and spicy elements, it enhances the fresh ingredients you add like shrimp, fish, leafy greens, and their premium lamb selections from renowned regions like Inner Mongolia and New Zealand. One tip I recommend is to pace yourself and load up on the variety of veggies and seafood they offer before fully indulging in the lamb and wagyu brisket. This not only balances the richness but also lets you enjoy the sweetness and freshness in each broth infusion. Also, don’t forget to add noodles or rice at the end — these soak up all the flavorful broth and bring a satisfying close to the meal. With over 100 locations worldwide, Happy Lamb offers a consistently high-quality and interactive dining experience perfect for groups or a special vibe with a hot pot date. Each location brings the same commitment to quality ingredients and traditional simmering techniques, so even if you can’t make it to Westminster, you can seek out their nearby venue. From my experience, the real joy in shabu shabu is the communal and hands-on aspect of cooking your food right at the table and sharing it with friends. It’s also an excellent way to try lamb from various regions, appreciating the differences in flavor and texture. Next time you crave a hot pot adventure, definitely consider Happy Lamb for an authentic and indulgent shabu shabu experience.
