Ghost of Tsushima
Hey fellow samurai! If you're anything like me, you've probably spent hours roaming the beautiful lands of Tsushima, only to realize you’re missing a few pesky Mongol camps on your map. Finding every single one can be a real challenge, but trust me, it's super rewarding! I wanted to share some of my personal strategies and tips to help you track down and clear all those enemy strongholds, making your journey to liberate Tsushima much smoother. First off, why bother with every camp? Well, beyond the obvious satisfaction of clearing the map, each camp you liberate contributes significantly to your legend and unlocks valuable resources. You'll often find supplies, crafting materials, and even new charms or armor upgrades. Plus, clearing camps is essential for reducing Mongol influence in a region, which in turn unlocks more activities and helps the local population. It's not just about combat; it's about reclaiming your home! When approaching a Mongol camp, I always recommend a bit of scouting. Use Jin’s focused hearing to pinpoint enemies and especially the leaders. Taking out leaders stealthily before engaging can significantly reduce enemy morale and make the ensuing fight much easier. I’ve found that using the bow from a distance to pick off archers first, then sneaking in through tall grass, works wonders. Don't forget your wind chime or firecrackers to distract guards – they’re lifesavers! If stealth isn't your style, don't be afraid to go in swinging, but always be aware of your surroundings and use your parry and dodge skills. The in-game map is your best friend here. Make sure to zoom in on areas you suspect might have camps. Sometimes, smaller outposts or hidden bases aren't immediately obvious from a zoomed-out view. Look for slight discolorations or structures that don't quite fit the natural landscape. Also, pay attention to rumors from NPCs; they often hint at enemy presence in certain areas. I've often stumbled upon camps just by following the main storyline and then backtracking to explore thoroughly. Inside the camps, always look for banners, artifacts, and especially any hostages. Freeing hostages often gives you extra resolve, and destroying banners contributes to your overall liberation efforts. Don't rush out after the last enemy falls; take a moment to loot everything! I once missed a rare artifact because I was too eager to move on, and I regretted it later. Remember, patience is key. Some camps are heavily fortified, and you might need to upgrade your gear or unlock specific techniques before tackling them head-on. Don't be afraid to retreat and come back stronger if you're struggling. Every cleared camp brings you one step closer to becoming the true Ghost of Tsushima. Keep exploring, keep fighting, and you'll have those Mongol camps cleared in no time!
