你已经很好了,但你还是不满意
Many people, including myself, often find it challenging to celebrate their achievements because of an internal voice that insists "it's not good enough yet." This relentless pursuit of perfection can be exhausting and damaging. I used to set extremely high standards in everything—from waking up early, maintaining discipline, exercising daily, to studying and working efficiently. Despite ticking all these boxes, I rarely felt satisfied or proud. Instead, I constantly criticized myself for small imperfections. I realized that perfectionism often masks a fear of failure or rejection. It creates an internal dilemma where you push yourself harder but still feel like you're falling short. The key breakthrough for me was learning to reframe my mindset: appreciating the progress made rather than fixating on what remains to be done. Practicing self-compassion helped me stop using harsh standards as a form of self-punishment. It's important to recognize signs like excessive self-criticism and internal conflict (内耗), which often come hand-in-hand with high self-demands. A helpful approach is to consciously acknowledge your efforts and achievements, even if they aren’t flawless. Remind yourself that being "good enough" is sufficient and that personal growth happens gradually. If you resonate with feeling dissatisfied despite doing your best, try journaling your successes daily or sharing with others who understand perfectionism struggles (#完美主义). Sometimes, external support can offer new perspectives that reduce the pressure we place on ourselves. Remember, your worth is not determined solely by achievements; it’s about valuing yourself as you are. Be kinder to yourself, and realize that feeling "not enough" doesn’t reflect your true capabilities. Embrace imperfection as part of the journey to growth and happiness.
