Here’s part 3 of my hanoi/sapa trip in January 2026!
📍Catcat Village
We got up pretty early in the morning and took the grab to the base of catcat village where we rented our traditional vietnamese outfit. I’m so sorry i can’t rmb the name of the shop we rented from. Grabs are usually not allowed into the village so we paid for a motorbike ride to the village. You can check with the rental shop if they provide this service as well! (they usually do)
As we hired a photographer from the same rental shop, we started 30mins of our catcat village experience taking shots all over the village! The edited photos were sent to us within a few hours (how efficient!) and we really liked it! It was nothing like the typical china max meitu xiuxiu kinda edit hahahaha.
After the session, we kept our attire and explored the area a little. Had a tea break at some cafe called 📍Hoa Cua Nui Restaurant which was decent. Nothing too fancy~
Do remember to go to the washroom before you change into the outfit as it was such a hassle for me!!

- if you don’t need photography, it’s 800k for costume.
💸Hoa Cua Nui 180k/$8 (1 bamboo sticky rice + grilled meat + 2 coffee)
📍Moana Sapa
We then headed to Moana Sapa to take the typical tourist shots (i loooooved all the photos taken here) it was nothing too cliche, the spots were really instagram worthy.

📍Alpine Coaster
It was getting dark but i’m glad we made it to the coaster because it was definitely one of our highlights of this trip! we went 2 rounds!
💸700k/$34 (2pax ticket for 2rounds of the ride)
📍Sapa Town
Headed to Sapa Town to take the iconic sun plaza shot!
📍Nga Hang Y Linh Ho
Had our last meal at Sapa here. It was a very scrumptious traditional vietnamese tze char style.
Called it a night and went back to our hotel before our sleeper bus back to Hanoi~
