... Read moreWow, my birthday really was something else this year! I’m still buzzing from all the surprises Anthony cooked up. It all started with that unexpected love letter in the shower – seriously, who thinks of that? Finding it there, written just for me (Ciara!), filled with so much love and appreciation for all our shared adventures, immediately set the tone for the day. It wasn't just a letter; it was the first clue to an incredible birthday scavenger hunt! Each clue was carefully crafted, leading me from one exciting activity to the next. One of my favorites was definitely the 'scooter adventure' clue. Anthony knows how much I love zipping around, so he mapped out a fun route, and we spent a great hour just enjoying the fresh air and each other's company on our scooters. It felt so freeing, like being a kid again, but with a grown-up kind of love guiding the way. We even passed by a spot where we used to skateboard, bringing back so many nostalgic memories! Later, the clues led me to a completely unexpected hands-on project: building a wooden remote control car! I was so surprised. Anthony had all the parts laid out – the circuit board, colorful buttons for 'forward,' 'back,' 'left,' 'right,' and 'ON/OFF,' even a little wooden driver figure. It was such a fun challenge piecing it all together, and honestly, it felt so rewarding to see our creation come to life. We used some 'ULTRA PREMIUM' blocks for the base, making it feel extra sturdy. Who knew building a car could be so romantic? And just when I thought the surprises were over, another clue pointed towards a creative session. We ended up designing custom hoodies! Anthony had picked out a light gray hoodie, and we spent time creating a unique design with three cartoon women styling hair – it was a nod to one of my favorite hobbies. Seeing our design come to life on the fabric was super cool. It's not just a hoodie now; it's a wearable memory of this amazing day. What truly made my birthday unforgettable wasn't just the gifts or the activities themselves, but the incredible thought and effort Anthony poured into every single detail. From that initial love letter to every adventure clue, it was all about celebrating our journey and creating new shared memories. It really showed his love and appreciation for me. If you’re looking to plan a special day for someone, I highly recommend creating a personalized adventure. Think about their favorite things, past memories, and little inside jokes.
