Day makeup
I don't know about you but if me or the kids has a doctor appointment, I have to wear some basic day makeup. My grandma always preached you get dressed for doctor if you want them to take you seriously.
For me that means
Eyebrows - revlon pencil
Mascara - tubing mascara in all black
BB cream - especially with spf
loose powder - right now im using lancome and i loveee how it smells
lip gloss - revlons lip gloss in a shimmery brown
Whenever I prepare for a day out, especially for appointments like doctor visits, I’ve found that having a reliable day makeup routine helps me feel confident and put-together without spending too much time. One key element I always include is a BB cream with SPF. It not only evens out my complexion but also protects my skin from sun damage during the day, which is often overlooked in simple makeup routines. For my eyebrows, the Revlon pencil mentioned is a go-to because it fills in sparse areas without looking harsh, creating a natural frame for the face. Pairing it with an all-black tubing mascara gives my eyes a defined look without clumping or smudging, which can be a problem during a long day. Loose powder is another favorite product in my routine. I especially appreciate brands like Lancome because, aside from setting the makeup effectively, they add a delicate fragrance that adds a little luxury to a casual look. It helps keep my face matte without feeling cakey or heavy. Finally, I love using a shimmer brown lip gloss from Revlon. It’s subtle but adds just the right amount of shine to make the lips look hydrated and fresh without competing with the rest of the makeup. This look is very approachable for anyone looking to maintain a polished appearance for everyday tasks. In my experience, the best day makeup balances practicality and style, enhancing your features while protecting skin and lasting throughout your busy schedule. Plus, it’s easy to tweak with personal favorite products to suit skin type and tone.
