As a huge fan of both, I always dreamed of seeing characters like Okarun interact with my favorite Pokémon, and designing this card was an absolute blast. It's more than just a drawing; it’s an entire concept for a crossover I’ve been imagining for ages. This specific card features none other than Okarun himself, from Dandadan, caught in a dynamic pose alongside an equally energetic Umbreon. I pictured Okarun in his iconic school uniform, running with a surprised yet determined expression, as if they're in the middle of an exciting chase or adventure. Umbreon is right there with him, matching his pace on a street lined with houses and utility poles, really bringing the scene to life. I wanted it to feel like a genuine Pokémon card, so I included details like "Okarun's Umbreon," giving it a unique identity, and even an HP of 110, which feels just right for a speedy Dark-type like Umbreon paired with Okarun's resilience. Speaking of Umbreon, it’s one of my absolute favorites! I’ve always been captivated by its mysterious aura, especially those iconic glowing rings. While they're not explicitly glowing in this particular running scene, I often imagine Umbreon in various night battle scenarios or just standing majestically in a night scene, its rings radiating that ethereal light. It's a key part of its anime appearance and what makes it so visually striking. I love seeing Umbreon in battle poses or running dynamically in anime scenes, which is why I wanted to capture that energy here. Its tactical nature as a Dark-type, often used for status effects and defense, also makes it a fascinating Pokémon to build a card around. The synergy between Okarun and Umbreon felt natural to me. Okarun is always getting into wild situations, constantly on the move, and Umbreon, with its agility and dark-type prowess, would be the perfect companion for navigating the strange occurrences in Dandadan.
