Old GD level, Dimension.
Tis a level I made a long time ago that ended up on hiatus as life chugged along.
I plan to remake it, and it is terraria inspired overall in design, though I need to refit the level into that theme in the remake.
Hey everyone! So, speaking of my old 'Dimension' GD level and its Terraria inspiration, I've been thinking a lot about the details, especially since I'm planning this big remake. When I first started imagining how to infuse Terraria's magic into Geometry Dash, one of the first things that really clicked for me was the aesthetic of Terraria's Shadow Dye. It's such a unique look, isn't it? If you're a Terraria player, you know that amazing, deep, almost ethereal black shade it gives to your armor and accessories. It’s not just a flat black; it has this subtle, smoky animation that really stands out. I remember spending ages trying to farm for the ingredients to make it – usually through the Dye Vat, combining things like Shadow Scales, Souls of Night, and often some Ebonwood or Obsidian. It felt like a real accomplishment to get that whole set looking so cool and mysterious. That dark, enigmatic vibe is exactly what I want to capture in the 'Dimension' remake. Imagine navigating a Geometry Dash level where the blocks subtly pulse with that shadowy animation, or where the background fades into the deep, inky blackness that the Shadow Dye evokes. It allows for such dramatic contrast with brighter, more vibrant elements, making those moments of light really pop. I'm thinking about how it could influence the entire color palette – maybe using deep purples, blues, and grays, with sharp, almost neon accents for hazards or interactive elements. It’s about creating an atmosphere that feels both dangerous and alluring, just like exploring a corrupted biome in Terraria at night. And for those of you asking 'cual es la id' – 'what is the ID' – for this level, that's a fantastic question! Right now, 'Dimension' is in its conceptual remake phase, so it doesn't have a new official ID just yet. The original version is so ancient that I'm essentially building it from the ground up to fit this new Terraria theme much better. But trust me, once the remake is complete and I'm happy with how it captures that Shadow Dye-inspired essence, I'll definitely be sharing the new level ID! The process of getting a level ID in Geometry Dash is super exciting, as it means your creation is out there for everyone to experience. It's a key milestone for any level creator, and I'm really looking for that moment when I can finally share the ID for the revamped 'Dimension' with all of you. Until then, I'm pouring all my creative energy into making this level a truly unforgettable, Shadow Dye-infused GD adventure!
