Flambo said “I see the chaos… but your priorities are wrong” 😂
I’m over here cleaning up yet another Palmer disaster (as always 😅) and this man really hit me with “awake → come → cuddle → upstairs.” Like excuse me sir???
Nothing like being summoned for cuddles mid-mess. He does not care what’s going on,if he’s awake, it’s cuddle time. Immediately.

As any dog owner will attest, living with a spirited Australian Shepherd like Palmer means embracing moments of chaos paired with unconditional love. From personal experience, these dogs have a unique way of deciding what truly matters when they’re awake—and it’s often not what you had planned. One thing I've learned is that Australian Shepherds are extremely affectionate and intuitive. When my dog senses I’m active, especially if I’m moving around the house, he instinctively wants to be involved, often by inviting cuddles at the most inconvenient times—like right in the middle of tidying up a mess. It’s almost as if they’re saying, "Forget the mess; let’s focus on what really counts: time together." This behavior highlights how dogs prioritize human bonding over routine chores. Their approach reminds us to slow down and enjoy the little moments despite daily stresses. Plus, cuddling your dog releases oxytocin—both for them and for you—creating a calming effect that makes the chaos more bearable. If you find yourself in a similar situation where your furry friend insists on cuddles while cleaning up their own mess, try to embrace it as part of the joyful “dog-parent” experience. Perhaps it’s a reminder that sometimes, prioritizing love and connection is exactly what you need to recharge before tackling the rest. After all, these moments build a stronger relationship and create memories far beyond a temporary mess.

I'm pretty sure my dog would say, "Awake. Food. Now!" 🤣
