Pen Pal 🫣🥵
Just finished Pen Pal by J.T. Geissinger and I am still looking over my shoulder.
Kayla is newly widowed, living alone in a big old house where things keep going wrong. Flickering lights. Strange smells. Sounds that should not be there. Add in eerie letters from an inmate, tarot cards, and a growing sense that she is not alone and I was locked in.
This book starts quiet and sad, then slowly turns unsettling, then absolutely feral. Grief, loneliness, and fear are woven together so tightly that you are never sure what is real and what is not. I flew through this because I needed answers.
Go in blind. Trust me.
