Everything else can wait - Raven talking
Look who came to talk with me today. I love when Ravens make those soft sounds.
Today I find myself enjoying our unusually warm spring. A little fresh bread ( the best wheat free ) from the wonderful men at “Our Daily Bread”. And yes, I’ve had a thing for air fryer cauliflower with Chili Lime seasoning but today I added hatch green chile. I sounded a bit like this raven, it was so good. And then a long hike out here in among the pinon to listen. It’s lovely.
Everything else can wait -
On us.
Spending time outdoors during the spring is one of my favorite ways to recharge and find peace. Listening to the soft calls of ravens creates a soothing soundtrack that complements the fresh air and warm sunshine. These birds are fascinating creatures, often symbolizing intelligence and adaptability, and their vocalizations can be oddly comforting when you pause to really listen. On this particular spring day, pairing my hike with something delicious from local artisans enhances the experience. The wheat-free bread from “Our Daily Bread” is not just tasty but feels wholesome and nourishing, perfect after a refreshing walk. Recently, I've been experimenting with air fryer cauliflower, and adding Chili Lime seasoning brings a bright, tangy flavor that really hits the spot. Today, I spiced it up further with Hatch green chile, which adds a smoky, slightly spicy twist that makes the dish irresistible. The crispiness achieved with the air fryer is incredible, proving that healthy eating can be both simple and delicious. Going out amongst the pinon trees for a long hike offers a wonderful opportunity to slow down and savor the moment. Nature has a way of reminding us that amid our busy lives, taking time for ourselves is essential. Whether it’s listening to birds, trying out new foods, or simply breathing in the fresh spring air, these little experiences make a big difference in our wellbeing. I encourage anyone feeling rushed or overwhelmed to take a pause, enjoy something small yet meaningful, and let everything else wait. Sometimes, the best moments come from simply being present and appreciating the beautiful simplicity around us.
