how did i not know this gem existed so near me 😭 they’re based in canberra which honestly makes this even more dangerous… because now I can order more often 😆
i tried their madeleines and banana pudding and WOW both were sooo good 😋
the madeleines were buttery, soft and slightly crumbly, with a really nice moist texture. what stood out to me was that they weren’t overly sweet, which made them super easy to keep eating without feeling jelak. they have 2 flavours, lemon and earl grey, and both were done really well. the flavours were light but still distinct, not overpowering at all. also love that they’re the perfect size for a quick snack hehe
but the banana pudding was the real star for me 😭 usually banana puddings can get quite heavy because of all the cream, and after a few bites it starts to feel a bit too much… but this one was surprisingly light and addictive. the vanilla custard was smooth, the whipped cream was fluffy, and the bananas were soft and naturally sweet. everything just came together so well, i literally couldn’t stop going back for more 😆
overall, such a solid homebaker and definitely one i’ll be ordering from again 🍰 can’t wait to try more of her bakes!!
