as a longtime fan of thicc min jiang kuehs (iykyk), i’m always on the lookout for a solid one and this newly opened stall in an amk coffeeshop did not disappoint 😊
they’ve got all the classics like red bean, coconut and peanut, plus some fun flavours like hazelnut, black sesame and oreo cheese 🥞 wanted to try the oreo cheese but it was sold out 😭 so i went with peanut, black sesame and hazelnut instead 🍫🌰
the texture was sooo good, chewy on the inside with a nice crisp crust, especially for the edge pieces. i reheated them before eating and it made everything even better 👍 fillings were super generous too, not stingy at all!
as a black sesame lover, easy winner for me ~ it was nutty, fragrant and had that perfect bittersweet balance 😋
overall, such a solid snack or breakfast option, and they open from 7am which is a huge plus!! amk residents are so lucky 🍀
