i’m usually a bigger fan of thin and crispy cookies, but these thick, chunky levain-style cookies definitely won me over 🍪🤭
they offer some really unique flavours that you won’t easily find elsewhere. the june lineup included kaya butter, butterscotch pecan, pb choc, rotiboy toast and chocolate pb brookie 😮💨
my personal favourite was the kaya butter! 🥥🧈 it tasted just like our beloved kaya toast in cookie form, with fragrant kaya flavours and buttery notes throughout. the crumb topping added a lovely crunch too, making every bite extra satisfying.
for something more indulgent, the chocolate pb brookie is a must-order 🍫🥜 it combines the fudgy richness of a brownie with the chewiness of a cookie, while the salty peanut butter helps balance out the chocolate so it never feels overly sweet.
the pb choc cookie was another standout. it was loaded with peanut butter flavour and finished with a chocolate drizzle on top, giving that classic sweet-and-salty combination that always hits 😋
i also enjoyed the butterscotch pecan cookie, which had a warm caramel-like sweetness and nutty crunch from the pecans, while the rotiboy toast flavour reminded me of my favourite coffee bun ☕️
all the cookies were thick, soft and chewy in the centre with slightly crisp edges. they’re also generously sized, making them great for sharing with friends and family (or keeping all to yourself 🤭).
