Consistency is key—originally, I aimed to hit the gym three times a week. Some weeks, I managed twice or three times, and once I even pushed for four workouts in a week. During the first few weeks, I noticed that initial weight loss mostly came from water loss, which is common when you increase activity. While the scale showed a 5-pound drop, I know the real fat loss takes time. Staying hydrated and not stressing over immediate results helps maintain a positive mindset. I’ve also learned to listen to my body, especially my back and shoulders, to avoid injury or burnout. Incorporating rest and adjusting workouts based on how I feel is crucial for long-term progress. Beyond physical changes, I definitely feel healthier and more energetic, which motivates me to keep going. This journey isn’t just about the pounds lost but about building lasting habits and enjoying the process. If you’re thinking about getting in shape, remember: progress is progress, no matter how small. Celebrate your wins and keep pushing forward!
