My Current Stats & A Little bit about Me 🪼
⚠️This is the first time that I am posting my face on here and my body so PLEASE be kind in the comments. I know posting on the internet subjects you to criticism, but I won't hesitate to delete any comments that are out right rude or disrespectful⚠️
So tomorrow starts the beginning of my 8 week challenge! I did want to show my journey up until this point and progress I have made.
What started me on my health journey was during my first ever trip to Japan in July 2024. When I was trying to find clothes I of course couldn't fit into much. At the time I weighed 185 lbs. I had started making some changes but like most it was hard on the beginning to stay consistent so I didn't change much. However, the summer of 2025 is when I got serious and made some nice progress.
i had even made it to 177lbs, but how I did it wasn't sustainable for me. Alomg with the school year starting and just let me say that the 25-26 school year really stressed me out amd tested my will power so my health journey took a semi back seat. I still tried my best but it wasn't enough. And then this summer I weighed around 184 lbs and once I started weight training really started seeing a difference.
So my current stats are:
Weight: 183.7 lbs
Waist: 35 inches
Hips: 42 inches
Once I go to the grocery store expect an upcoming grocery haul for the week!

Sharing my health journey has been a profound experience, especially learning how to balance progress with everyday challenges. Reflecting on how my trip to Japan in July 2024 sparked a desire to change, I realized consistency was my biggest hurdle early on. Between managing school stress during the 25-26 year and trying different methods, I found that sustainable habits rather than quick fixes made a lasting difference. Weight training has played a pivotal role this summer in reshaping my body and mindset. It’s amazing how strength training not only helps burn fat but also improves confidence and mental resilience. One thing that really helped was focusing on small, manageable goals each week, such as packing healthy lunches and drinking adequate water, as I tracked in my "Discipline Arc". This incremental discipline helped me build momentum without feeling overwhelmed. Integrating mobility and flexibility exercises alongside strength sessions has also contributed to reducing soreness and improving overall performance. Incorporating active rest days with light walking or Pilates kept me consistent and refreshed. Through this journey, I’ve learned the importance of embracing vulnerability — posting my face and sharing my story despite the fear of criticism. It’s empowering to set boundaries by deleting rude comments and fostering a supportive community. Looking ahead, my upcoming grocery haul video will feature nutritious foods that support muscle gain and fat loss, such as high-protein items like chicken bibimbap bowls, Greek yogurt, and edamame. Hydration and consistent sleep (7.5-9 hours) are no less important and help recovery and mental clarity. For anyone starting their own 8-week challenge or body recomposition journey, my advice is: focus on consistency rather than perfection; celebrate small wins; trust the process; and remember you vs. you is the real competition. This mindset keeps me motivated to level up week by week and unlock healthier habits for life.
