Mixing different types of fencing like wooden-plank fence or hedge fence can really define your spaces and add texture. And don't forget custom design paths to add a unique touch! I love finding beautiful stone or brick paths that complement my cottagecore theme, making every walk across my island a picturesque moment. Nook's Cranny and Able Sisters are essential, but how do you make them blend seamlessly or stand out? I love creating little outdoor extensions for them to enhance the shop ideas. For Nook's, I set up a small market square with fruit stalls, a custom design rug, and a seating area where my villagers can grab a snack. For Able Sisters, I designed a cute outdoor changing area with a few mannequins and a picnic spot nearby where villagers can relax after shopping. Think about adding a small cafe or library nearby to create a mini-town center that feels lively and inviting. Beyond the big structures and layouts, it's the little details that truly make your Animal Crossing island look good. Don't be afraid to experiment with terraforming; moving rivers and cliffs can totally transform a space and open up new design possibilities. Custom designs are your best friend – from unique paths to adorable picnic blankets, signs, and even subtle ground textures. And seriously, lighting makes all the difference!
