🎀 Favorite Pokémon Cards Part One 🎀
I got this card in one of my first Pokémon packs since coming back to collecting cards.
I use to collect Pokemon trading cards as a kid and my cards were given to my brother when I moved out. 🥺
So returning to this AND doing it with my husband, has been a healing journey for me. We do date nights where we open a bunch of packs with some takeout.
To have cards that are my own. To collect pretty cards cause I don’t really care about the value. To do it with someone that I love. It has been amazing. 💖

The Pokémon trading card game has surged in popularity, especially during the pandemic, with more collectors joining the community. As a child, you probably had your favorite Pokémon, and it’s heartwarming to see adults revisit this nostalgic hobby. Many collectors emphasize the emotional connection over the monetary value, focusing instead on the art and creativity of the cards. Engaging in date nights opening packs not only enhances the experience of collecting, but it also strengthens bonds with loved ones. Collecting Pokémon cards can be a therapeutic and rewarding journey, encouraging creativity and connection. As you share moments and memories, remember to celebrate the community. Surround yourself with fellow Pokémon fans, whether it's through online forums, local meetups, or social media platforms. Whether you're a seasoned player or a new collector, embracing the joy of trading cards can be a fulfilling path. Explore various card sets, engage with your Pokémon community using hashtags like #pokemoncards and #pokemontcg, and don't forget to enjoy the process of building your collection. The beauty of Pokémon card collecting lies in the personal stories and connections we make, inspiring others along the way.
