Breakup aftermath ✨️🙏
In the beginning of my breakup, I was sad, (obvi) but I was also angry. I said a lot of things that I regret, and yet, they needed to be said. Maybe in a different way, a different tone, etc. It's been a month, but even in the chaos of it all, maybe it was the right thing. To find myself again, to find Jesus again. My friends and family helped me immensely during this difficult time, but God remained firm in my heart and in my mind. Every time I would cry, I would talk to Him. It was almost like muscle memory. My significant other (ex), I do not hate him at all. In the midst of my healing, I pray for his healing, too.
Love is beautiful, but learning to love myself first is the goal. I'm excited for the future, I'm not looking for love or companionship in anyone else, but myself. My walk with Jesus comes first, I lost sight of that during the past (almost) two years with each other.
