First-Time Caller ☎️💗

This book was amazing!!! 😩 The chemistry between Lucie and Aiden was perfect. I’m not sure if I consider their first encounter at the lobby a meet-cute, but even that was perfect for me. It was just too funny! From the banter to the slow tension, just the buildup, it was all chef’s kiss. I love how each page was sprinkled with hope and so much romance. I was literally giggling and kicking my feet.

While I did enjoy the two main characters, I also loved the side characters as well as the listeners. And the slow burn was burning!! I can’t wait for the second book.✨

... Read moreI honestly can't stop thinking about 'First-Time Caller ON AIR' by B.K. Borison. Every time I see a mention of Aiden and Lucie, I get that happy flutter all over again! It's one of those books that sticks with you long after you've turned the last page, earning every bit of its 4.5-star potential. When I think about a 'First-Time Caller special edition,' my mind immediately races to all the wonderful extra content I'd love to get my hands on. Imagine getting a bonus chapter from Aiden’s point of view during their earliest interactions at the 'romance hotline'! Or perhaps a 'where are they now' epilogue that gives us a peek into their future lives together. I'm always craving more of their witty banter and those incredibly tender moments that felt so earned. A special edition could truly deepen our connection to these characters and their world, offering insights into their thoughts and feelings that weren't fully explored in the main narrative. Maybe even some deleted scenes that show more of their 'friends to lovers' journey or the delightful 'grumpy x sunshine' dynamic playing out in new scenarios. I can just picture Lucie's infectious optimism slowly chipping away at Aiden's more reserved nature in even more charming ways! What truly makes Aiden and Lucie stand out is the beautiful, believable way their relationship unfolds. It's not just instant attraction; it's a careful, delicious build-up that makes you root for them from page one. Their communication, even when it’s wrapped in sarcasm, is always genuine. You feel their connection growing, the unspoken understanding between them becoming stronger with each shared moment, whether they're on air or just navigating their personal lives. The unique setting of the romance hotline provides such a perfect backdrop for their evolving dynamic, allowing for both professional distance and intensely personal conversations. It’s a genius way to explore their vulnerabilities and strengths. B.K. Borison truly crafted a masterpiece of modern romance. The way she weaves in the 'friends to lovers' trope with the 'grumpy x sunshine' archetype is seamless. Aiden’s initial grumpiness is so endearing because you see the glimpses of warmth underneath, especially when it comes to Lucie. And Lucie’s sunshine isn't naive; it's resilient and deeply empathetic, making her the perfect balance for Aiden. Their journey felt so authentic, making me laugh out loud and even shed a tear or two. If you're searching for a romance that combines humor, heart, and a slow burn that truly delivers, then diving into 'First-Time Caller ON AIR' to follow Aiden and Lucie's story is an absolute must. I'm already counting down the days until I can immerse myself in their world again!
