Dear “Diary,”
“Today” my uncle returned from the hospital! He still needs a little help, but I know he’ll get better along the way. The first picture is a snapshot of my hubby earlier watching as two paramedics bring in my uncle to his new space. The rest of the pictures are from when we went to Snow, an ice cream and bubble tea restaurant. this place is mostly where me and one of my bestie’s like to chill. The hubby got a mocha coffee Frappuccino while I got an egg waffle with ice cream as you can see in the last two pictures. I FINISHED that shiz SUPER FREAKING FAST! I originally wanted to try the banana pudding from crumbl cookie, but they were sold out! hopefully tomorrow i can get it! Anyways, that’s it for the day.
Sincerely,
Cristina ❤️
It's amazing how a single day can hold so much, isn't it? Today felt like a huge sigh of relief. Seeing my uncle come home from the hospital was truly heartwarming. It's been a challenging time, and even though he still needs a bit of help, just having him back in his own space makes all the difference. We've been making sure he's comfortable, and my amazing hubby was right there, watching intently as the paramedics carefully brought him in. It really brought home how important family support is when someone is recovering. Little gestures, like making sure his favorite blanket was ready or brewing that perfect cup of tea, mean the world during these times. It reminds me to cherish every moment with loved ones. After such an emotionally significant morning, a little treat was definitely in order! That's why we headed straight to "Snow," our go-to spot for an instant mood boost. It's not just the delicious treats; it's the whole vibe. There's this adorable Pikachu decoration near the chalkboard sign with their hours – always makes me smile. My bestie and I love to chill there, catching up over something sweet. Today, my hubby indulged in his usual, a rich mocha coffee Frappuccino. He swears it’s the best pick-me-up. I, on the other hand, went for my absolute favorite: the egg waffle with vanilla ice cream. Seriously, if you haven't tried their egg waffles, you're missing out! They're perfectly crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, and when paired with that creamy vanilla ice cream and all the toppings, it's pure heaven. I practically inhaled mine – it was that good! It was funny, looking at the receipt later, seeing how much joy that $14.61 brought us. And speaking of treats, my quest for the legendary Crumbl cookie banana pudding continues! I was so bummed they were sold out. It’s been on my mind all week! I just picture that warm, soft cookie with the banana pudding frosting, maybe some vanilla wafers... *sigh*. Crumbl always has such unique flavors, and the anticipation of trying a new one or finally snagging a sold-out favorite is part of the fun. It’s like a little treasure hunt every time I go. Hopefully, tomorrow’s my lucky day! What are your go-to comfort treats or those elusive desserts you're always chasing? Sharing these small moments, the ups and downs, the cravings – that's what makes this diary such a special place for me. It's a snapshot of life, the big events and the little joys that string them all together.
