I finally did it. I got my hair dyed purpleish and got bangs AND even got my eyebrows micro-bladed. I left some of my natural brown in the roots of my hair because I was too nervous to go fully purple because I wasn’t sure how I was going to look. I was also extra hesitant on getting bangs because I haven’t had bangs since I was literally a toddler, but I could NOT BE HAPPIER! As far as my eyebrows go, I didn’t have any before so I’m extremely satisfied with them. It cuts my makeup time in half I swear. I should have done this a long, long time ago. I feel more myself than I ever have.
So, if you’re feeling a bit hesitated to do that thing you wanted to do with your hair, or your nails, or wear that outfit you want to so badly but you don’t think you can “pull it off”…I’m here to tell you that you CAN pull it off. If you want to change something about your appearance because it would make you feel more comfortable in your own skin, then do it. It can be nerve wracking to drastically change something about the way you look, but for me, it was so worth it in the end and I think you would agree if you just try that something new.
