How long it took me learn these kpop dances!!
Learning Kpop dances is both challenging and rewarding, especially when trying to keep up with multiple groups like BABYMONSTER, IVE, and LE SSERAFIM. From my experience, the time taken to learn each dance varies depending on the complexity and my familiarity with the choreography style. For instance, BABYMONSTER's "Hot Sauce" routine took me around 20 minutes to grasp the main parts. The moves are sharp but manageable when broken down into smaller sections. In contrast, Katseye's "Gnarly" full dance required between 1 to 1.5 hours to learn due to its intricate choreography and fast transitions. IVE's "Bang Bang" was surprisingly quick, only about 10 minutes, thanks to its repetitive and catchy dance hooks. LE SSERAFIM's "Fearless" also took around 20 minutes, combining confident poses and precise steps. Incorporating these effective learning times helped me structure my practice sessions strategically. I recommend focusing on challenging sections, using video tutorials to practice repeatedly, and taking short breaks to avoid burnout. Through this journey, I realized that patience, consistent practice, and enjoying the music keep the learning process enjoyable and motivating. Whether you're a beginner or intermediate dancer, setting realistic goals and celebrating small milestones can make mastering Kpop choreography a fun and fulfilling experience.
