🌞🌸 reminder
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about nature and how we’re so disconnected because of having to be indoors and often consumed by technology. As well as viewing other people’s lives constantly instead of being able to build our own, from our own ideas.
I want you to have compassion and understanding for yourself when your mind is not in a good place.
It’s like an animal in a zoo having zoochosis, your mind and body are not wired for life the way this society lives.
When you’re depressed, sad, disassociating, anxious, feel like you can’t do anything, feel like everything is pointless, have despair, and so on. Remember it’s okay to feel that way.
You are experiencing a lot more than a human being should be everyday.
Take a step back and start at your most simplest needs. Nourish your body, stretch and move, walk outside or in nature. Go watch water flowing and try to clear your mind for a moment.
You don’t need the newest technology, the latest clothes that are in style, the new products that are popular, that Amazon find you saw, none of it. You don’t need it and especially not to stress about it.
Start at the beginning, spend time with your kids or family. Don’t overthink every move just get up and go do something you love and see where it takes you. Have compassion for yourself when you’re feeling your feelings. You’re suppose to! Breathe and remember that in every moment, life will continue to flow and you can control your responses and how you take care of your energy.
So just remember to put down your phone more often and move your body. Get energy flowing and the more you do it, the more you will discover about yourself, your needs, your interests, your intuition.
You’ll discover more of the things YOU like when you’re not constantly seeing other people, the lives they portray, what they’re doing, products, trends..
You’ll find yourself before the world told you who to be ❤️
