Pizza Bagels ❤️‍🔥

Pizza bagels are so fast and easy and my kids love them as you can see in the pic they barely waited for me to take a picture before grabbing them 😂

All you need is:

Plain bagels or everything bagels

Pizza sauce or marinara (we used Rao’s pizza sauce)

Mozzarella cheese

Pepperonis or other toppings

Open the bagels

Put sauce on

Then cheese

Then toppings

And bake

I bake them at 375 in the toaster oven for about 10 minutes so oven should be similar

I add pizza seasoning (Parmesan, chili flakes, Italian seasoning, garlic powder)

You can do mini ones too!

and add basil or different flavors and toppings

Also you can use English muffins and those are great too

... Read moreYou know, one of the best parts about making pizza bagels at home is how incredibly versatile they are! While I usually grab plain or everything bagels, don't be afraid to experiment with your base. If you happen to have some slightly stale bagels lying around, this is actually a perfect way to give them new life – the baking process often revives them beautifully. Just make sure to slice them evenly so they cook consistently. I've even seen people use mini bagels for adorable, bite-sized party snacks, which is super cute and perfect for little hands! When it comes to the sauce, while I swear by Rao's for its rich flavor, honestly, any good quality marinara or even a simple tomato paste mixed with Italian seasoning works wonders in a pinch. And for the cheese, don't skimp on that lovely mozzarella! Freshly shredded melts so much better and gives you that perfect pull, but for ultimate speed and convenience, the pre-shredded kind is totally fine. Sometimes I'll even blend in a bit of provolone or a sprinkle of Parmesan for an extra layer of cheesy goodness and tang. While pepperoni pizza bagels are undoubtedly a classic in my house – and let's be real, who doesn't love that crispy, savory pepperoni? – the topping possibilities are endless! Think about all your favorite pizza toppings and get creative. Cooked Italian sausage, finely diced bell peppers, sliced mushrooms, black olives, or even a sprinkle of fresh basil after they come out of the oven can really elevate them. For a fantastic vegetarian twist, sautéed spinach and crumbled feta are amazing. And if you're feeling adventurous, a little bit of pineapple (yes, I said it!) can be surprisingly delicious on a pizza bagel for a sweet and savory kick! Achieving that perfect golden crust and bubbly cheese is key, and baking them at 375°F in either a toaster oven or a regular oven for about 10 minutes usually does the trick. You want the cheese perfectly bubbly and melted, and the edges of the bagel slightly crispy. My little secret for an extra burst of authentic pizza flavor? My homemade pizza seasoning blend! A generous mix of grated Parmesan, a pinch of chili flakes for a tiny kick, classic Italian seasoning, and a dash of garlic powder, all dusted over the top before baking, truly makes all the difference. It really brings out that authentic pizza parlor taste right in your kitchen. These quick and easy pizza bagels are absolutely amazing fresh out of the oven, but they also make fantastic leftovers or even a smart make-ahead meal for busy days. If you're planning for a hectic week, you can easily assemble them ahead of time and store them covered in the fridge for a day or two before baking. Or, for a longer-term solution, bake them, let them cool completely, and then freeze them individually on a baking sheet before transferring them to a freezer bag. When you're ready for a quick snack or meal, just reheat them in the oven or air fryer – they'll be almost as good as fresh, saving you so much time!
