The Silent Patient left me speechless. Well that might be a little to cliche and holy untrue.

I WAS SCREAMING WTF REPEATEDLY WHEN THE TWIST NEAR THE END FINALLY HAPPENED.
I didn’t see it coming and I can usually see it coming. I knew something was up. I knew the way it was happening in the story was a little too neat, it was too on the nose. That was until I was sucker punched by the very large plot twist I had failed to see developing right in front of me.
I usually take a little longer to read a book but this one had me from the moment I read the first chapter and didn’t let go until it dropped me on my face at the end.
I do have to say the way it ended was a little underwhelming after the plot twist but I guess that is to be expected. Alex M had his I GOT YOU moment and then wrapped up the story.
WOW… JUST WOW. If you can’t tell I just finished this book and RAN to Lemon8 to tell y’all you have GOT to read this book.
