This excursion was a dream come true for me! As someone who makes 3-D art, Chihuly is not only one of my favorite artists, but the biggest inspiration. While he works in glass, and I tend to stick to clay, I have incorporated several of his famous techniques in my works and they have elevated the pieces beyond expectation.
