As a massive NXT loyalist, I'm absolutely buzzing for tonight's action-packed WWE NXT Preview on 12/17! Every match feels like it has massive implications, not just for tonight, but for the trajectory of these Superstars heading into future events like Vengeance Day or Stand & Deliver. First up, the NXT Championship match between Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe. Wow, what a main event! Trick Williams has truly come into his own as champion. His charisma is off the charts, and he's shown incredible resilience in his defenses. However, Eddy Thorpe is no pushover. He's a technical wizard, a submission specialist, and he's been building serious momentum. I'm genuinely torn on this one. My gut says Trick will find a way to retain, perhaps with some clever tactics, but Eddy has the ability to pull off a monumental upset. I'm on the edge of my seat just thinking about it, hoping for a clean, hard-fought battle to truly solidify the champion's reign or crown a new, deserving one. Then we have the highly anticipated NXT Tag Team Titles defense, with Nathan Frazer and Axiom putting their gold on the line against Gallus. Frazer and Axiom are such a dynamic duo; their innovative high-flying offense combined with Axiom's technical precision makes them incredibly exciting to watch. But Gallus? They are a powerhouse unit, all brute strength and coordinated aggression. They've held those titles before and know exactly what it takes to win them back. This match has 'match of the night' written all over it. I'm personally hoping Nathan Frazer and Axiom retain; their reign has been fantastic, and their chemistry is undeniable. It'll be a true test of speed versus power! Let's not overlook the women's division, with Wren Sinclair taking on Jaida Parker. Both of these Superstars are hungry for a big win to climb the ranks. I've been really impressed with Wren's determination and evolving in-ring style lately, while Jaida Parker brings a no-nonsense, aggressive approach that can overwhelm any opponent. This match could be surprisingly impactful, setting the stage for who might challenge for the Women's Championship down the line. I always love seeing new talent get their chance to shine, and these two definitely have what it takes. And speaking of exciting matchups, Oba Femi, the formidable Iron Survivor, facing Axiom in a singles match is another must-see! Axiom is pulling double duty tonight, which shows incredible heart and stamina. Oba Femi is just a beast, his power and raw athletic ability are unmatched, making him a dominant force.
