Photo shoot BTS
Want to know what I do everyday ? #bts #photoshoot
So many of you asked what a typical 'Day in the Life of a Creator' looks like, especially when there's a big photoshoot on the horizon! It’s definitely not all glamour and perfect shots from the get-go. For me, a successful photoshoot starts long before I even pick up my camera. First, there's the planning. This includes everything from brainstorming concepts and mood boards to scouting locations and coordinating outfits. It’s crucial to have a clear vision of what story you want to tell with your images. Think about what message you want to convey, just like in iconic celebrity photoshoots you might admire – whether it's the raw emotion seen in a Jungkook photoshoot or the playful dynamic in a family portrait. Every detail contributes to the overall narrative. Then comes the gear prep. Batteries charged, memory cards formatted, lenses cleaned, and maybe even a backup camera ready. You never know what challenges a day on set might throw at you! This meticulous preparation is part of the "practice" in photography; it becomes second nature over time. On the day itself, it's all about execution and adaptability. Lighting is key, and sometimes you have to get creative with natural light or quickly adjust your artificial setup. Working with subjects, especially if they're not professional models – like, say, guiding a step-son through a practice photography session – requires patience and clear communication. I always try to make them feel comfortable and empowered, giving gentle direction on posing and expression. It’s a collaborative effort, and the best shots often come from genuine interactions. When it comes to actual 'practice photography,' I believe in constant experimentation. Don't be afraid to try new angles, play with different camera settings, or even break some 'rules.' Reviewing your shots throughout the day is also super important. It helps you identify what's working and what isn't, allowing you to make real-time adjustments. After the shoot, the editing process is where the magic truly comes to life. Color grading, cropping, and minor retouches can elevate good photos to great ones, transforming raw images into polished pieces of art. My advice for anyone looking to improve their photography skills is simple: keep shooting, keep learning, and keep practicing. Whether you're trying to emulate the dynamic shots from a famous artist's portfolio or just capturing everyday moments, every click of the shutter is a step forward in your creative journey. Don't compare your beginning to someone else's middle; focus on your own growth and enjoy the process of becoming a better visual storyteller.
