🧠 1.Crow and tool use - inventor level at all

There was a famous experiment at the University of Cambridge that required the "New Caledonian" crow to pick up food in a deep glass tube that it could not reach.

👉 The crow went to collect the "straight line wire" and bent it into a hook, and the hook itself connected the food. 😳

I've never seen people do it before! It means that they can think and design by themselves.

🧩 2.Crow with forward planning - not unlike humans at all.

The crow found that there was no food today, but knew that tomorrow there would be "tools to give away," so it kept the tools to use the next day.

This is "future planning," which very few animals can do (such as great apes and crows).

The researchers tested it by pasting a colored dot on the crow's neck and causing it to look in the mirror.

It sees and tries to peck or rub that spot off itself → means it knows that that "is itself," not another bird.

This kind of self-awareness is usually found only in very intelligent animals such as monkeys, dolphins and elephants.
