Found a hidden gem for local food lovers in Singapore ✨🇸🇬
Not gonna lie… I came for the Char Kway Teow but stayed for the Bak Kut Teh 😮💨
📍 Pacific Emporium, Pan Pacific Singapore
Everything is part of their Local Delight series and each set is only S$26++.
My favourites:
🔥 Penang Char Kway Teow
Super fragrant with that smoky wok hei goodness.
🍗 Har Cheong Gai
Crispy outside, juicy inside. Dangerous because you literally can’t stop at one piece.
🥢 Bak Kut Teh
THE STAR OF THE SHOW.
The premium baby back ribs are sous vide for 24 hours before being simmered in a rich peppery broth. The meat falls right off the bone and the soup was so addictive I went back for a second refill. No regrets.
Also available:
🍜 Penang Prawn Noodle Soup
🌶 ️ Assam Laksa
Love how the chefs elevated familiar local favourites while keeping the authentic flavours we all grew up with.
💰 Local Delight Set from S$26++

Save this for your next foodie outing 👀
If you're a fan of authentic Singaporean cuisine, Pacific Emporium offers an impressive variety that truly elevates local favourites. Beyond the Char Kway Teow and Bak Kut Teh, I recommend trying their Penang Prawn Noodle Soup and Assam Laksa—each dish is carefully prepared to bring out traditional flavors while adding a modern touch. One thing that particularly stood out was the quality of the Bak Kut Teh. The ribs were sous-vide for 24 hours, resulting in incredibly tender meat that practically melts in your mouth. The rich, peppery broth was so addictive that I kept going back for refills, a definite sign of a well-crafted dish. For those visiting or living in Singapore, this spot is ideal for lunch dates, social gatherings, or introducing tourists to the rich culinary landscape of the island. The pricing is reasonable, making it accessible while still offering a premium dining experience. From my personal experience, I’d suggest coming with an empty stomach and a group of friends—sharing the diverse dishes makes the outing even more enjoyable. Don’t forget to save room for the Har Cheong Gai; dangerously addictive with its crispy exterior and juicy inside. Overall, Pacific Emporium’s Local Delight series is a hidden gem in Singapore’s food scene, showcasing the best of local flavors in a refined yet approachable way. Definitely worth a visit for anyone craving familiar tastes with a twist.
