Day 7? Cozy nails..💅

My nails have been on for about a week…so these are definitely cozy I would say. They sure are worn in. I plan on doing them over tonight or tomorrow.

We are supposed to get some pretty cold weather, so I’ll have plenty of time while I’m stuck inside this weekend to do a new set of nails.

I enjoy doing my own, because it saves me some money and gives me a cute activity to do as well! Personally I like using stickers. #winterbeauty #lemon8contest #lemon8beauty #cozynails #lemon8creator

From my experience, maintaining longer wear on your nails, especially when you do them yourself, involves a few simple but effective steps. First, properly prepping your nails by cleaning and lightly buffing them helps the polish or stickers adhere better and last longer. Applying a good base coat is essential too, as it protects the nail and creates a smooth surface. When it comes to cozy nails for colder weather, I enjoy choosing stickers because they add a cute, creative touch without the mess. There’s also less drying time compared to traditional polish, which is great when it’s chilly and you want to avoid smudging. If you want your nail set to last even longer, sealing the edges with a clear top coat is like the cherry on top—it prevents peeling and wear. Cold weather offers a perfect excuse to slow down and pamper yourself with nail art indoors. Having a stock of beautiful stickers or even simpler designs means you can update your look frequently without spending a lot at a salon. Also, taking care of your cuticles with nourishing oils or creams helps keep your nails looking healthy beneath the polish or stickers. Overall, doing your nails at home has become a cozy and thrifty weekend ritual for me. It’s a rewarding blend of self-care, creativity, and practicality—especially during colder months when you’re spending more time indoors. Plus, sharing your nail journey online with communities like #cozynails and #winterbeauty can inspire others to enjoy this fun and relaxing hobby too!
