Dumped my man of 12 years 🤌

Life is too short to be in relationships that don’t bring value to your life. After 12 years together I finally decided to call it quits. There are a series of events that led to this, I won’t go into details here, but the overall lesson is I should’ve let go a lot time ago. I tried to make it work for our son, but in the end what I learned is that I no longer want to be in a relationship that doesn’t serve me.

I am surprisingly happy, I thought this was going to be harder. My sister says it’s because I’ve been mourning the relationship ending in the past couple years while I’ve been in a relationship and that makes a lot of sense because my inner self kind of already knew that this was heading into this.

All I have to say to all the young girls on here is, don’t waste your time, don’t waste your life. Trust your intuition! If something seems as if it’s going nowhere, you ask for what you want and they don’t make the effort, if they disrespect you, If they are a different person than what they portrayed to be, let them go, girl! It’s not worth it. I think that is one thing that all young girls and all women in general need to learn is to let go quickly.

Besides that dolls, I will be just fine. I’m actually looking forward to the next stage in my life. I am going to be single for a long while. I’m gonna focus on my business, my son and on myself and if in the future a love comes along that worthy of me then I welcome it with open arms, but at this point of my life, I just, want peace.

Until next time! 💕

... Read moreBreaking up after a long relationship can be one of the toughest choices to make, but it can also be a pivotal moment of growth and self-discovery. Many individuals find themselves trapped in relationships out of obligation or fear of loneliness, leading to prolonged unhappiness. It’s essential to recognize when a relationship no longer provides the emotional support, respect, or joy you deserve. Trusting your intuition plays a significant role in relationship dynamics. If you sense something is off, it’s vital to communicate your feelings and needs. A partner who truly values you will make the effort to respond positively to your concerns. If they fail to do so, it may be a sign that it's time to let go and prioritize your happiness. Moving forward, focusing on self-care and personal growth can lead to a fulfilling life beyond a relationship. Embrace this period of singlehood as an opportunity to explore your interests, invest time in your goals, and connect with friends and family. Remember, it's never too late to prioritize yourself and seek the peace you deserve. Empower yourself to break free from situations that hold you back and welcome new experiences with an open heart.
