Twenty Sumn’
I wish I was given the kinda advice I give out to others. It is important to know that you aren’t the only one who is/ have went through certain things. 💕 it is okay to go through things but what is not okay is to keep going through the same things you healed from. It just means you didn’t learn.
Boundaries was something I learned along the way with my experiences. Nobody taught me a lot and I am thankful and grateful for my experiences.
People learn at their own pace and have their own experiences but it’s okay to tune in and AVOID certain things so you aren’t badly scarred. Or truly traumatized to the point where you have PTSD.
I normally do not get personal and vulnerable but I feel as if it’s time to. I feel as if this book will share that amongst other things. I appreciate yall on my journey. 💕🥹
Entering your twenties often feels like stepping into uncharted territory filled with exciting opportunities and unexpected obstacles. Twenty Sumn’ beautifully captures this pivotal phase, focusing on the importance of personal healing and setting boundaries based on one’s lived experiences. From my own journey, I’ve found that recognizing and breaking unhealthy patterns is essential—not only for personal growth but also for protecting your emotional wellbeing. What resonated deeply with me is the emphasis on learning from past wounds rather than repeatedly enduring the same hardships. This requires not just awareness but cultivating self-compassion and patience since healing unfolds at different speeds for everyone. Establishing boundaries became a crucial lesson in my twenties—knowing when to say no, discerning toxic relationships, and nurturing connections that truly uplift you. Additionally, the caution about avoiding sources of trauma that can lead to PTSD is especially meaningful. It highlights the necessity of safeguarding your mental health without guilt. Sharing our raw, unfiltered stories—as Twenty Sumn’ encourages—creates a safe space for genuine connection and collective empowerment. For anyone navigating love, friendships, and self-worth during these transformative years, this memoir offers guidance grounded in authenticity and hope. Remember, you don’t have to have everything figured out. Commitment to growth, grace under pressure, and surrounding yourself with supportive people pave the way toward becoming your best self. This book isn’t just about surviving your twenties—it’s about thriving, healing, and choosing peace along the way.
