Who do you turn to when you feel alone?
Have you ever been in a dry and weary land where you’re calling on God and don’t feel Him near?
Although I’ve been walking with the Lord for some time now, I still have moments when I feel lonely and disconnected from Him. But one day, God, in His gentle and loving nature, reminded me that He has never left. He is always near, patiently waiting for His daughter to come to Him. When I’m ready to talk, He is always ready to listen. Who am I that God is so mindful of me?
Psalm 34:18 says, “The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Even in my lowest moments, He has been right there, waiting with open arms. When I’ve felt weary and burdened, I’ve been reminded of Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Lately, I’ve been bringing all my burdens, concerns, and insecurities to Him in prayer, and I’ve been spending so much time in His presence that I don’t even want to leave. James 4:8 reminds us, “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” So, I want to encourage anyone who feels far from God He is not distant. He is waiting for you to come to Him. Draw near to Him, and He will draw near to you. He’s waiting to hear from you.#godbelieving #christian #encouragement #depressionsupport
