Mushy Pea Pasta ... you heard me .

looking for cooking ideas you haven't seen before !?

try this Mushy Pea Pasta ! I'm sure this has a more appealing official name but I like the ring this has lol. I promise it's much more tasty than it sounds lol

ingredients

1 lb pasta

prosciutto

1 can green peas

1 onion diced

1 stick of butter

3 cups hot water

2 eggs

1/4 cup parmesan

1/4 cup pecorino Romano

salt

pepper

step 1 . fry up your prosciutto till crispy and set aside

step 2. over medium heat add your butter and let soften , add onions and cook about 5 minutes then add your peas and about 1 cup hot water. let cook 5 more minutes .

step 3. remove a few large spoonfuls from pan and blend with a splash of hot water . add that back into your pan with salt and pepper .

step 4. add your dry pasta . Cook until pasta is aldente. add more water as needed. risotto style .

step 5 . in a bowl mix eggs and cheeses. add that back to the pan once pasta is cooked .

plate and top with your crispy prosciutto and extra pepper .
