Well… this feels like the start of a new era for us.

Starting this podcast definitely pushed us out of our comfort zones. It’s been a little awkward, a lot of learning as we go, and honestly some trial and error already — but that’s kind of the point.

We didn’t want to wait until everything felt perfect to start. We just decided to begin, figure it out along the way, and grow into it.

We quickly learned that embracing imperfection is key to growth, especially as new podcasters and parents. It’s reassuring to know that many creative pursuits don’t start perfectly—they evolve through persistence and openness to learning. For moms and parents considering sharing their stories or launching a creative project, the biggest hurdle is often the fear of not being 'ready' or 'good enough.' We decided to set those doubts aside and simply start. This approach has not only helped us build confidence but also made our conversations more genuine and relatable. Listeners often crave authenticity, and sharing our honest experiences—including the awkward moments and mistakes—helps create a stronger connection. Our podcast, For Mother’s Sake, is a space where vulnerability meets community. It’s for anyone who wants to hear real talk from moms figuring things out in real time, without the pressure to have all the answers. Whether you’re a parent, caregiver, or just someone curious about the complexities of motherhood, tuning into this journey can offer comfort and inspiration. Launching this podcast has also taught us valuable lessons about stepping out of comfort zones and embracing trial and error—lessons that apply beyond parenting. The creative process is rarely linear, and success often comes from showing up consistently, learning from feedback, and evolving organically. We hope our experience encourages others to start their projects, share their voices, and connect with like-minded communities.
