Beabadoobee is back with concert in Thailand
Yesterday evening, the three neighborhoods of Friendly Town Hall were dazzled by Gen Z children who were fans of Beatrice Kristi Ilejay Laus or Beabadoobee, half-British-Filipino singer-songwriters who returned to perform concerts in Thailand, which by this time had reached the stage of Sold Out, resulting in a large hall that looked tiny.
Most of Beabadoobee's music fans are teenage girls who sing verbatim to her songs. Impressively, there is a large group of 12-year-old Jane Alpha children who watch a special area above normal, which is very cute. It clearly shows that Beabadoobee has fans of all ages.
Most of her fan-catchy genres are folk pop and indie pop, but last night's show was an indie rock and slacker rock genre that mixed Lo-Fi and alternative rock music together, resulting in the music she played last night as a vibe of 90s rock and contemporary rock music that was both fun and fun.
Beabadoobee said that she felt good about touring Asia because it was like returning home, eating a few meals a day, and was glad to see that fans really welcomed and loved her songs. By the setlist show in Bangkok last night, she organized 22 songs, which she and her back-up band played on every song, especially hits like The Perfect Chair, She Plays Bass, Cologne, Talk, Coffee and the way things go. ถ้าใครกำลังเสิร์ชว่า “beabadoobee คอนเสิร์ต” แล้วลังเลว่าควรไปไหม บอกเลยว่าประสบการณ์รอบนี้สนุกและคุ้มมาก แบบที่ออกจากฮอลล์แล้วยังติดหูอยู่เลย จุดที่รู้สึกชัดคือบรรยากาศแฟนคลับอบอุ่นมาก คนร้องตามได้ทั้งฮอลล์จริงๆ และที่น่ารักสุดคือมีน้องๆ เจน Alpha มาดูเป็นกลุ่มด้วย ทำให้ฟีลมันเป็นคอนเสิร์ตที่ “ทุกวัยอยู่ด้วยกันได้” ไม่ได้จำกัดว่าต้องเป็นอินดี้สายเก่าหรือเด็ก Gen Z เท่านั้น ในแง่ตัวโชว์ Beabadoobee เล่นสดแล้วพลังดีมาก โทนดนตรีค่อนข้างไปทางอินดี้ร็อก/อัลเทอร์เนทีฟที่มีกลิ่นยุค 90s ผสมความ Lo‑Fi แบบฟังง่าย ทำให้เพลงที่เราเคยฟังในหูฟัง พอมาอยู่ในฮอลล์มัน “หนา” และ “มัน” ขึ้นอีกระดับ โดยเฉพาะช่วงที่เธอหยิบกีตาร์ไฟฟ้าสีชมพูขึ้นมา เล่นแล้วภาพบนเวทีมันจำได้ทันทีว่าเป็น Beabadoobee จริงๆ ใครชอบโมเมนต์ศิลปินสลับกีตาร์ไฟฟ้ากับกีตาร์โปร่ง จะอินมาก เรื่องซาวด์ส่วนตัวรู้สึกว่าเก็บรายละเอียดได้ดี เสียงร้องไม่จมหายไปกับดนตรี และเบส/กลองช่วยดันอารมณ์เพลงให้พุ่ง โดยเฉพาะเพลงจังหวะคึกๆ ที่ทำให้คนทั้งฮอลล์โยกตามได้ง่าย ส่วนโปรดักชันแสงสีและวิชวลก็สวย แบบไม่กลบศิลปิน แต่ช่วยทำให้เวทีดูมีมิติขึ้น อีกอย่างที่อยากแชร์สำหรับคนจะไปคอนเสิร์ตรอบหน้า: ลองวางแผนเรื่อง “การถ่ายคลิป” ไว้นิดนึง เพราะช่วงท้ายๆ เธอมีขอให้ทุกคนลดการยกมือถือ เพื่อเอนจอยโมเมนต์ตรงหน้า เรารู้สึกว่าแค่ถ่ายบางท่อนที่อยากเก็บ แล้วที่เหลือปล่อยตัวดูสดๆ จะฟินกว่าเยอะ ถ้าถามว่าไฮไลต์คืออะไร สำหรับเราคือความแน่นของเซ็ตลิสต์และพลังตอนเล่นเพลงฮิตอย่าง Coffee, Cologne, Talk รวมถึง the way things go ที่คนร้องตามดังมาก แนะนำเลยว่าถ้ามีประกาศคอนเสิร์ต Beabadoobee ในไทยอีก รีบกดบัตร เพราะรอบนี้ sold out และมีแววว่ารอบหน้าสถานที่อาจต้องใหญ่ขึ้นจริงๆ
