Self care and Why it’s Important

I’ve been struggling to find a decent routine with my self care/weight loss. Been switching out a lot of bad things for good, which have changed me for the better! Here’s a few things I’d like to share how it’s helped me!!✨✨

Detoxing~ I don’t do this all the time by any means, sometimes I honestly forget lol, but it’s been doing good on me and gets rid of toxins, helps boost the immune system, increase metabolism, even helps with weight loss, and more!

Green drink; cucumber, grapes, celery, and water helps with cleaning your gut! I personally have some issues with my stomach so this kinda helps me reset my body in a way!

Pink drink; strawberries, pineapple, mango, and water helps with bloating and boost the immune system! This one I just started making so I haven’t noticed anything yet but I’ll update 😌

Exfoliating~ I find exfoliating everyday is harsh on the skin, at least on mine it is. I’ve been exfoliating about 2-3 times a week (usually when I shave) to reduce the chances of me hurting my skin. Plus, it helps with those “strawberry legs” after I shave!

Pimple patches~ I use to pop my pimples on a daily basis and sometimes they have left scars and I regret it so much! I didn’t think patches worked until I tried my sisters out of the blue and woke up, took it off, and the zit was pretty much gone..so I was shocked but also told myself I need to stop popping as it leave scars on the face and other parts of the body.

Apple Cider vinegar gummies~ helps with immune system and weight loss. I haven’t seen a lot of difference in my weight from just these, it’s a combination of a bunch of others but from the last 2 weeks of taking them, you notice a slight difference I feel like. Again, that’s a mixture of other things added into what I’m doing!

Im slowing adding some other things into my daily routine that I’ll have to update later on!! Hope this helps though✨

... Read moreIncorporating self-care into daily life can feel overwhelming, but small consistent changes can make a big impact. Detoxing periodically helps your body eliminate toxins and enhances your immune system. For example, the green drink combination of cucumber, grapes, celery, and water acts as a gentle gut cleanser, aiding digestion and relieving stomach issues, while the pink drink with strawberries, pineapple, mango, and water can help reduce bloating and boost immunity. Including such natural detox drinks is a refreshing and nutritious way to support your wellness journey. Exfoliating your skin is an important self-care practice, but it should be done thoughtfully. Over-exfoliation can cause skin irritation and damage, so limiting exfoliation to 2-3 times per week—as mentioned with using scrubs or dry brushes—is ideal. This routine also helps prevent the appearance of "strawberry legs" after shaving by removing dead skin cells and smoothing the skin’s surface. Choosing gentle exfoliants like almond and shea sugar scrubs can nourish the skin while cleansing. Addressing skin blemishes without causing scars is challenging, especially if pimples are prone to popping. Using pimple patches, such as the STARFACE hydro-star patches or other hydrocolloid types, absorbs fluid, protects the spot, and helps shrink pimples more safely and effectively. This practice minimizes scarring and is a healthier habit to replace popping, stabilizing your skin’s healing process. Apple cider vinegar gummies are a popular supplement that supports immune function and may contribute to weight management. While they may not instantly transform your weight alone, combining them with other healthy habits—like detox drinks, exfoliation, and blemish care—can create a synergistic effect for overall wellness. Finally, remember that self-care is a personal journey. Slowly adding new habits and monitoring how your body responds allows you to build sustainable routines. Sharing your progress and tips with a community or friends can keep you motivated. Embrace self-care as an act of kindness to yourself, focusing on holistic health and gradual improvement rather than quick fixes.
