Grieving never gets easier

She’s my favorite person in the entire world. I can’t hug her, I can’t hear her voice, I can’t hear her laugh. She is just a memory. It’s been 13 years since they closed the casket lid and officially separated me from my favorite person on this planet. Seeing her name on a tombstone makes it feel like it happened this morning.
