Is Rhode skin worth the hype?
I know we all have heard of Rhode skin by Hailey Bieber. A lot of celebrities come out with their own skincare brands and don’t really put too much thought into it but let me tell you, Hailey did her thing! I was skeptical of trying this brand but I was desperate for skincare that actually would hydrate my skin. As a flight attendant and PCOS girly, my skin is always dry and I need to make sure I have a good product to wash as well. These products are sooo worth the hype! I’ve never seen my skin feel or look better! My lips too! The peptide lip treatments are sooo moisturizing, even the tinted ones! I’ve been using these products for over 5 months and I am in love and so is my skin. (If you haven’t, swipe to see my skin.)
Let’s get into it:
1. The Pineapple Refresh cleanser makes my skin feel so clean after a long day working on multiple planes or a long day at the beach.
Here’s what’s in it:
-Pineapple Enzyme which is a gentle, natural exfoliant. It’s safe to use for everyday use morning and night!
-Green Tea Extract: calms and soothes the skin with antioxidants that help protect against environmental stressors.
-PGA:an ultra hydrating, skin plumping humectant that helps lock in moisture! My face never feels gross and dry after using this! Also, a little goes a long way!
2. The Glazing Milk is next in the routine and let me tell you, this is the HOLY GRAIL!! I honestly want to buy 5 at a time so I never ever run out! The glazing milk is a nutrient rich, light weight essence that boosts barrier function and provides immediate hydration. I love this because it calms my skin and gives a pretty glow! Sometimes I wear just this with some sun screen! Here’s what’s in it:
-Cereamide Trio: boosts skin’s barrier function
-Beta-Glucan: polysaccharides that help lock in the moisture and calm skin
-Magnesium, Zinc, & Copper blend: defends skin against free radicals for plump, healthy-looking skin
3. Next is the Peptide Glazing Fluid. PGF is a light weight gel serum that plumps and hydrates to support a healthy looking skin barrier. This is the product that gets you that “glazed donut” look 🍩
Here’s what’s in it:
- Niacinamide: nourishes, brightens, and improves skin texture overall. (Definitely has smoothed out my skin textrure!)
-Peptides: visibly plump and reduce the look of fine lines
-Hyaluronic Acid: locks in hydration and replenishes moisture
-Maryland Oil: rich in fatty acids that help support and soften the skin barrier
4. Barrier Restore Cream is a rich yet light weight moisturizer meant to comfort, soothe, and restore the skin barrier.
Here’s what’s in it:
-Shea butter: hydrates with 5 essential fatty acids
-Squalane: powerful emollient, hydrates and softens
-Peptides: visibly plump and reduce the look of fine lines
-Açaí: antioxidant rich, protects skin from harmful free radicals
-Niacinamide: nourishes, brightens, and improves overall texture
5. Final step in this routine is the Peptide Lip Treatment! When I tell you these are the BEST lip moisturizer! Nothing else seems to keep my lips moisturized as long as these and heal my dry lips. This comes in 4 scents: Rhode Vanill, Salted Caramel, Watermelon Slice, and Unscented. I love Watermelon Slice! But you can’t go wrong with any of them. There are also many tinted shades of the lip treatment as well! My favorite are Espresso and Toast. I am wearing Espresso in the picture in this post! Here’s what’s in the lip treatment:
-Shea Butter: Hydrates and moisturizes
-Peptides: plumps and reduces the look of fine lines
-Cupuaçu- helps maintain skin elasticity, improves suppleness for dry and dehydrated lips
-Babassu: rich, natural source of lauric acid to support the microbiome and replenish overall moisture
This brand does not yet have an SPF so I use my favorite SPF after I put on the barrier restore cream. I’ll be making a post about my favorite SPF soon! Try to use 30spf every day on your face to protect your skin. Also, Rhode has new blush! I haven’t tried it yet though! I did want to mention these products have lasted me months too!
Have you tried Rhode skin? Will you try it? What skincare brands are your favorite? 💋🧖🏽♀️

Building on my initial review of the Hailey Bieber Rhode skincare set, I wanted to dive deeper into some aspects that really make this line stand out, especially for those with specific skin goals or concerns. After consistently using these products for over five months, my skin has genuinely transformed, achieving that 'glowy, calm, and smooth skin' I constantly seek – truly addressing those 'skin goals and ingredients that work' queries. One important consideration for many is, 'Is Rhode clean beauty?' While the brand doesn't explicitly label itself as 'clean' in the traditional, unregulated sense, it's worth noting their commitment to being vegan, gluten-free, cruelty-free, and dermatologist-tested. They also formulate without parabens, phthalates, PEGs, and synthetic fragrances, which aligns with many people's desire for a more mindful approach to skincare ingredients. For me, knowing these details adds another layer of trust in what I'm putting on my skin, especially when dealing with sensitivities like those from PCOS. Regarding 'anti-aging repair and night routines,' I've found the Peptide Glazing Fluid and Barrier Restore Cream to be powerhouses. While I've detailed their daytime benefits, their role in a nightly repair regimen is equally impressive. The peptides in both products work tirelessly overnight to visibly plump the skin and reduce the look of fine lines – a key component for 'anti-aging repair'. I love applying the Glazing Fluid followed by the Barrier Restore Cream before bed; it creates a protective, nourishing layer that helps my skin recover from environmental stressors experienced as a flight attendant. Waking up to supple, hydrated skin truly feels like a mini-reset every morning. This consistent 'hydration & barrier support (day and night)' is crucial for long-term skin health. For those looking into 'complexion fundamentals' and how Rhode skincare affects 'long wear makeup basics' or 'foundation selection and finish,' this routine is a game-changer. The 'glazed donut' look isn't just for aesthetics; it truly preps your skin beautifully for makeup. The Glazing Milk and Peptide Glazing Fluid create a smooth, hydrated canvas that allows foundation to glide on flawlessly and wear longer. I've noticed my makeup doesn't settle into fine lines or dry patches as much, and that natural glow shines through, enhancing my 'complexion fundamentals'. Even the tinted lip treatment provides such a perfect, hydrating base for any lip color, or just a perfected natural look. It’s not just about covering up; it's about enhancing the naturally radiant skin Rhode helps you achieve. And don't forget, while Rhode doesn't have an SPF yet, incorporating a good broad-spectrum sunscreen as the final step is essential to protect that newly glowing skin. This comprehensive approach means your skin goals, from hydration to a perfected complexion, are genuinely supported by thoughtful ingredients, making the entire 'Rhode skincare makeup Hailey Bieber ingredients analysis review actives' truly worthwhile.
