Weekend getaway IDEA

Diary day 12: after a long week you want to relax either alone or with a partner! This one is it! one of the places that my boyfriend and I went to and we recommend anyone to go to if you live by the area is called sojo spa. It’s located in New Jersey and honestly it was the best spa anyone can ask for. Majority of the spots within the club is free you just pay the entrance. You have a variety of saunas with different goals in the sauna that you can hit or need. They have ice rooms. They have hot tubs , pool you name it! Definitely a place to go check out if you’re in the area! #lemon8diarychallenge

That's exactly why I wanted to share more about Sojo Spa – it’s truly one of the best weekend ideas getaway spots I’ve discovered, especially if you're looking for 'places to vacation near me' on the East Coast. Located conveniently in New Jersey, it offers that perfect blend of proximity and a complete change of scenery. What makes Sojo Spa an ideal 'best friend weekend getaway idea' or even a solo retreat? For starters, the sheer variety of experiences under one roof is incredible. Beyond the general entrance fee, most of the main attractions are included, making it a fantastic value. Imagine spending your day hopping between unique saunas – they have everything from a Himalayan salt sauna that feels incredibly detoxifying to a far-infrared sauna, each designed with different wellness goals in mind. My personal favorite is the charcoal sauna; it’s so calming! Then there are the ice rooms, a refreshing contrast that really boosts circulation. But it’s not just about the saunas. The multiple hot tubs, both indoors and out, are perfect for soaking tired muscles. And the pools! They have various pools, including a stunning rooftop infinity pool with breathtaking views of the New York City skyline. It’s an absolutely magical spot, especially at sunset, and provides a truly unique backdrop for your 'weekends' escape. You and your friends could spend hours there, just chatting and enjoying the view. Beyond the aquatic and thermal experiences, Sojo Spa really excels in making your 'weekend' feel complete. They have several dining options, ranging from casual cafes to more upscale restaurants, so you don't even need to leave the premises for meals. I've found their Korean BBQ spot to be particularly delicious! There are also relaxation lounges where you can nap, read, or simply unwind in peace. For anyone planning a 'best friend weekend getaway ideas,' here are a few tips I've picked up: Go on a weekday if you can: It tends to be less crowded, allowing for a more serene experience. If weekends are your only option, go early! Bring a good book: While there's plenty to do, having some quiet time by the pool or in a relaxation room with a book is pure bliss. Explore all the levels: Don't just stick to one area. Each floor offers different experiences, from traditional Korean bathhouses to modern wellness amenities. Try the rooftop pool at night: The city lights are spectacular and make for unforgettable memories. It’s truly a comprehensive wellness destination that offers a fantastic break from the everyday grind. Whether you're seeking deep relaxation, a fun day out with friends, or just a quick rejuvenation for your 'weekends,' Sojo Spa delivers. It’s one of those 'places to vacation near me' that never disappoints, leaving you feeling refreshed and re-energized for the week ahead.
