Emotional Alchemy
Writing is a way to release emotions.
Emotions need to be expressed to be released.
If they are not expressed, they tend to stay active in the background.
Writing changes how the brain processes what you feel.
When you put an experience into words,
the brain creates structure instead of staying in a fast, reactive state.
Naming the emotion reduces its reactivity.
The brain can process it instead of reacting to it.
This does not remove the emotion.
It makes it clearer and easier to handle.
Each time the emotion is expressed,
part of it is released.
Over time, the intensity can decrease,
not because it is avoided,
but because it is processed.
Writing is not just putting thoughts on paper.
It is a way to move from reaction to understanding.
