Night Architecture
Sleep affects more than physical recovery.
It also affects how the brain evaluates situations and makes decisions.
When sleep is reduced, emotional reactions begin influencing decisions more quickly while longer-term evaluation becomes less efficient.
Because of this, the brain becomes more likely to react immediately instead of slowing down to evaluate consequences carefully.
After poor sleep, decisions can feel more emotional, more impulsive, or harder to evaluate clearly.
