Dose of my days
Reflecting on my recent days, I’ve realized how important it is to treat your energy as something precious, almost like a luxury item. Life, especially when it moves fast through cities like Atlanta or retreats by the coast in Myrtle Beach, can either drain you or inspire you depending on how you manage your mindset. In my experience, starting the day with intention and trusting not only yourself but also the kindness of strangers can set a positive tone. For example, a ride through the mountains, or a quiet morning by the shore can recharge your spirit and offer a sense of calm amidst a fast life. I’ve learned to prioritize moments that make me feel lucky and happy—whether it’s a small conversation with a new friend or just soaking up the warmth of a sunny day at 73 degrees. These instances remind me that life’s energy isn't unlimited; it must be valued and wisely spent. Traveling between bustling Atlanta and the serene shores of Myrtle Beach, I often find contrast in pace but similarity in the need to slow down and savor joyful moments. My life’s ‘dose’ has become less about rushing and more about mindfulness—appreciating each interaction, each smile, and the lucky surprises along the way. So, if you find yourself caught in a fast life, consider this my encouragement to take a pause, enjoy those day-date delights, and remember that your energy is your most valuable asset. It’s okay to say 'bye bye' to what doesn’t serve you and embrace the lovely, lucky moments that bring genuine happiness.
