Alhamdullilah this year though I was sick I got to do my makeup with pressure and was able to finish on time

Celebrating Eid is a special occasion that calls for looking and feeling our best. However, sometimes unexpected challenges arise—like being under the weather—that can make preparation stressful. This year, despite feeling sick, I committed to finishing my makeup on time for Eid Mubarak, which taught me valuable lessons about perseverance and adapting beauty routines during difficult times. When you're not feeling your best, it’s essential to simplify your makeup steps. Focus on skincare first to nourish and hydrate your skin, especially when you’re sick. Using light moisturizers and hydrating primers can create a comfortable base for makeup that won't irritate your skin. I relied on quick yet effective makeup products, such as tinted moisturizers instead of heavy foundation and multi-use sticks that save time. Working under pressure also meant setting realistic expectations. Instead of attempting complex looks, I opted for a fresh and natural style to highlight my features without overwhelming my skin. Scheduling my time efficiently, taking short breaks, and staying hydrated helped me maintain energy levels throughout the process. Sharing this experience, I hope to encourage others to be kind to themselves during busy occasions. Even if you're not feeling 100%, you can still enjoy moments of self-care and celebration. Eid Mubarak is about joy and gratitude—so embracing our imperfection while preparing can make the day even more meaningful.
