Making crochet items for others…

How do you guys feel about making crochet items for family and friends without charging? I do this mostly as a hobby and sometimes I really want to sell my items to recoup some funds. I made this for my Mom and she loved it! I get nervous if others will appreciate my work as well. How do you guys sell or market yourself in this creative climate? Should I just keep sharing my project instead? So many decisions.

I love making things for family or friends every once in a while but it's more like I see something I think they would like they don't really ask 😂 but I do find it hard to price my items when it comes to selling because I enjoy making everything and yarn isn't that expensive unless your doing a huge project and the fact I can sit and watch t.v. take breaks when I want and create when I want I can't justify a certain $ amount per hour not saying that's wrong to do for some people it's a job not a hobby
