Hackers Release ErrTraffic ClickFix Tools Sold on the Black Market

A year ago, many readers may have become familiar with the method of deceiving victims to follow on-screen commands to correct errors, but it is actually a trick to install malware, also known as ClickFix. According to a report by the website, TechNadu has mentioned the detection of a tool to help hackers deceive their victims in a malware form called ErrTraffic ClickFix Tool by a group of hackers from Russia, "LenAI," sold on the underground web board of Russian hackers, which has been advertised as a tool to help hackers deceive by doing social engineering through ClickFix more easily than before it was necessary to hack the web and find a way to write code to insert it on the site itself. At present, the tool has been developed to version 2, which is by a research team from Hudson Rock, a malware monitoring expert. Stealing data from the victim's machine, or Infostealer, indicates that the malware control screen is so easy to use that even newbies can use it without learning much more, increasing the danger of this tool because it is accessible to hackers.

The ErrTraffic ClickFix Tool malware is not the same as other familiar malware. The malware acts as an online traffic redirect or Traffic Distribution System (TDS). After hackers have reached a certain level of the target website, the tool will steal the code from the content management system (CMS). The malware will use the code to launch the malware script into the website.
